Product Description:
The Strength of a Sparrow is based on a true story-the story of the author's parents. The character of a tenacious young woman, Bouvette Sherwood, who is a successful New York Broadway producer and actress, drives the plot. In the mid 1940s Bouvette meets and falls in love with a charming alcoholic, Hughie Hewitt. He has a secret though, which he keeps from her during their intense courtship-he is a Catholic priest. Their love story unfolds into a kaleidoscope of intrigue, suspense, betrayal, and romance.

I have had this book on my shelf since December. It got buried amongst my other books and I completely forget it was waiting to be read and reviewed. I feel terrible about getting to it so late but it is now, finally being read. It definitely has started strong and has my full attention.

" 'No, I mustn't do this,' thought Hughie Hewitt. He envisioned devastating consequences, consequences that would befall not only him but also the lovely twenty-five-year-old woman who sat before him." page 9, The Strength of a Sparrow by Tim "Dr.Hope" Anders.
