Underneath all of these is one I got for Christmas this past year from my brother-in-law. It is a collage of family pictures and on the bottom (which you can see if you click to enlarge the picture) he wrote a very nice note, "For your 100th book and the 100 more next year... Merry Christmas." What a great gift!

This is such an awesome idea! I shall prepare my post :D You have some great bookmarks, btw. I love the one with the paw prints.
ReplyDeleteThis is a cool idea. I don't have a variety of bookmarks so I don't think I can enter this contest, but I'll check around.
ReplyDeleteCollecting bookmarks is sort of like collecting kitchen magnets. Fun and addictive.
I don't have that big a collection of book marks. I spend all my money on books and then pick up the free ones. That is bad isn't it. If I love books, I should love bookmarks too.
ReplyDeleteThis would be perfect for a scheduled post while I am on vacation. Going to have to dig up all my bookmarks now!!
ReplyDeleteHere is my post about one of my favorite bookmarks. Fun idea!

I have a huge collection of bookmarks. I love collecting them and I love the way they look in my books. Which is why they're all unfortunately stuck inside one book or another. I love to do this but I'd have to search through almost every book I have and take out the bookmarks. Maybe I'll take a page out of Juliann's book and just take out my favs. Fun challenge! :D
ReplyDeleteMy entry is up!
ReplyDeleteBlacklin- You can share as many as you like. Even one. :)
ReplyDeletegreat contest! i'll be posting about it this coming week :O) I do have bookmarks, mostly ones I made myself.

ReplyDeleteand I'm also following you, but not because of the contest, just because this is the first I've seen of your blog and I think it's really neat. :)
I love my bookmarks! What a fun contest. You have a quite a large collection. Sadly I can't find all of mine but my favorites were easy to find and photograph. I am a follower and have blogged about the contest here:

I have one beautiful bookmark that an ex girlfriend gave to me. It's metal (gold colored) with a pretty red ribbon and with a little metal tab at the end of the ribbon. It's heavy enough to stay in the book but the metal tab at the end is both beautiful and weights the ribbon down perfectly so that it never gets in the way. It's a brilliant bookmark. When I'm not using that, I just use slips of paper or whatever else is laying around.

I sadly do not have a beautiful collection of bookmarks like you ladies and I feel that now is the time to begin one! Generally I just use my chapters reciepts!!!

ReplyDeleteOne can never have too many bookmarks! I am already a follower and my post is here.
ReplyDeleteI have dozens of bookmarks, too. I almost hate to use them because I'm afraid they will get bent up! So, most are tucked safely away.

ReplyDeleteI've recently started getting bookmarks like crazy. Some of my favorite ones are Ann Aguirre's Blue Diablo bookmarks, the Twilight/Paramore bookmark I got from Hot Topic, and Nancy Haddock's La Vida Vampire bookmarks. I'll see if I can take a pic and make a post later on today.
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower now :D
ReplyDeleteI do not have beautiful bookmarks but I like to use dried leaves sometimes!

Waah, I totally forgot to do this! Not that I have that many bookmarks (at least not ones I've bought), but it's such a fun contest idea. Oh well, next time!
ReplyDeleteHuh, it appears that it might not be too late to comment at least, since you're an hour behind me! I usually use little slips of paper as bookmarks, but I do have a heap of bookmarks too, mostly ones I've collected from bookstores. My favourite bookstore bookmark says "And REMEMBER... 'Ice cream, candy, children, barefeet, short hair, long hair, no hair, cats, dogs, and small dragons... are welcome here anytime.'" It's from a bookstore in Kennebunkport, Maine (called Kennebunk Book Port) that I've never been to but would love to visit some day!
