I am back, but not sure how long I will last. I don't recommend parties on the same night as the Read a Thon. Carl's RIP Mini Challenge starts this hour. I am still working on Frankenstein, so I am good to go for the next couple hours. I feel the need to light candles and plug in the halloween lights. Not sure if that is a good idea with how sleepy I am though. Some more Advil may be needed as well. :)

  1. I can see how parties and reading might be problematic. ;-)

If you'd like an easy activity, I have a short story challenge up on my blog at

I was late posting it so I've decided to let it run til the read-a-thon is over. Alas, I cannot blame my tardiness on a party. I was just forgetful.

  3. I'm pretty much past the point of investing any type of thought into my reading, so I've switched over the children's scaries for Carl's challenge. lol I keep hoping for a 2nd wind!

  4. I skipped a party because I was committed to the read-a-thon waaaay before I got the invitation for tonight. Kind of sad to miss it, but, yeah.

Extra wind (if you want it. Sleep is OK with me if it's OK with you.)!

  6. Only one caffeinated drink?

My hat is off to you. I have drunk so much today I think the lining of my stomach completely gone!

Good luck with the next hour. Hang in there.

  7. Carl's challenge was spooky for me with silence in the house. Frankenstein was a good pick though. Halloween lights would be fun, you should put some up!

    Happy reading!
