Teaser Tuesdays-2/24/09

Grab your current read.
Let the book fall open to a random page.
Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.

You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
Please avoid spoilers!

" 'It's been two weeks; do you have any idea what that does to a person? Your child missing, almost certainly dead and you don't know how or why.' " page 95, The Disappearance by Efrem Sigel.

  1. Wow, those are very affecting teasers! I don't know how anyone ever copes with that situation.

  3. I have no idea how a person in that situation can even begin to cope. It must be the most frightening feeling and sense of helplessness ever imaginable. Here is mine

  4. That is chilling and makes me wonder if I would be able to read this. (And this is from someone whose written about this kind of subject.) Go figure.

  5. Once I read this quote I knew I had to share.
It is hard to imagine dealing with this.
