I have only one book in multiples. My husband and I were in Ireland the summer that Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix was released. We went and stood in line at midnight at a bookstore on Grafton Street in Dublin and waited to buy our first and only UK copy of any HP book. When we got home our US copy was waiting for us in the mail.

Do you own multiple copies of any books? Which ones? Why? Can you share your list?"

That's my favourite Harry Potter book. I wouldn't mind having two copies of it. ^_^

Cool! I have the German version of the first one, but I'm not further than the first chapter.
ReplyDeleteSounds like quite the adventure. We actally owned a bookstore when this one came out. I wouldn't have got a copy, because we sold them all that night, but there was one that was slightly damaged. The one and only time I have been happy to recieve a damaged book.
ReplyDeleteThe US edition covers are so much more attractive don't you think?
ReplyDeleteHow fun! Isn't amazing that the hype over here has carried into other countries??
