eBook Purchased

Well, I may not have a Kindle but I do have an iPhone. 

I just downloaded the Kindle for iPhone app after reading Chris' review of it. I was kind of worried when I first went and looked it up last week and there were no reviews. I thought I would wait awhile before downloading it. Now, only a week later there are over 700 reviews and mostly positive. 

I also purchased a book. (I just couldn't wait.) Plus, I need easy to take with me reads for Spring Break. What did I get? Glass Houses by Rachel Caine. $4.79! Not bad. It was in the app in a matter of seconds. It looks great too. Easy on the eyes, easy to change pages. (I read through a few.)

There are some complaints about not being able to purchase the books right from the app but it is so simple to do it off of Amazon that I didn't really see it as a problem but I am sure it will be a feature soon enough. 

Have any of you tried it out yet?

    I didn't know you could read a book on your iPhone - I don't have one, but that might encourage me to get one!

    Good for you! I hope you enjoy. As for me, I don't think I'm ready for ebooks yet. I tried a couple of times, and can't get into it. Maybe in another couple of years or so.. :)

    I think the iPhone is neat, but unfortunately one is not in my budget right now. (Neither is a new computer, which I need since mine just died.) I'm glad your enjoying yours!

    S.Krishna- Definitely give it a try. I am liking the price for some of the books!

    Wendi- I love my phone and now it holds books! Even better. :)

    Claire- This will be my first time reading an ebook so we will see how much I like it. The app is free so I had to give it a try.

    Anna-Oh no! I don't know what I would do without my computer. Good luck with getting it replaced.

    :) It was nice to have in the doctor's waiting room today. I completely forgot to bring my book with me.
