take it from me

The high today is supposed to be 86 degrees! Can you believe that?

Best thing to do when the weather is this warm...take the knitting outdoors.

outdoor knitting

I have been enjoying sitting outside on the deck, listening to some music,Joshua Radin and The Weepies, and knitting some on my Tangled Yoke.

Yes, I know it is Monday, and normally I would be at work right now waking kids from their naps, but no school today. Yay! Makes up for having to work on President's Day. :)

  1. You've had an awesome Monday....unusual because Mondays normally reek. :P
I can't wait to see more photos of your Tangled Yoke...looking gorgeous!
The temp. here is 64 F but it feels like 80. Nice.
    Hugs!

  2. 86 degrees?! I actually said it felt "balmy" here in Wisconsin when it was 35 this morning! Tangled yoke is looking great so far, at least the silky wool isn't as heavy (and warm) as 100% wool in this case.

Oh, and I love Joshua Radin lately!

  3. 86°F? Noooooooooooo!

We got up to 60° yesterday and even that's much too warm. Can't we just have an ice age? Please?

How do you manage to knit in summer in temps like that?

  5. I didn’t find the post for the reading challenge, so I’ll post here.

Welcome to the 100+ Reading Challenge! :-D I have posted your link on the right sidebar of the blog. Another thing I am doing something, at least I think it is. I'd like to start posting the participating members favorite book for each month on the blog. January is posted on the blog and some have sent February’s. If you send me your favorite book and author of the book for January, I’ll post it in the photo slider.

Best of luck and above all, have fun!
