You have got some interesting books. Hope you like those.
ReplyDeleteHere is my post.
I certainly can't walk past a bookshop! You were remarkably restrained :)
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain! I have quit going to bookstores altogether because I can't walk away without books in my hands!
ReplyDeleteI've heard wonderful things about Rainbow Rowell. Her books are on my list too!
I have a hard time passing up books in a bookstore...and also have difficulty staying off of Amazon! LOL
ReplyDeleteI got Fangirl last week, by Rainbow Rowell. Enjoy your books! Here's MY WEEKLY SUNDAY/MONDAY UPDATES
I hear you about not having will power in a bookstore.
ReplyDeleteToo funny! I think those books were just looking for a good home.
ReplyDeleteHi Mari,
ReplyDeleteI too have given up visiting bookshops, as I just can't resist the temptation once I am in there and leaving without anything is sheer torture!
As many of the bookshops here in the UK don't have restroom facilities, that is never going to be an excuse I am likely to use for going in!
'Eleanor and Park' has received so many great reviews and ratings (over 11,000 on Goodreads alone), that I can see why you want to read it and it seems pretty certain that you won't fail to enjoy the story.
Have a great week,
Yvonne
I totally can't walk into a bookstore without looking around and buying at least one book (I usually end up with two or three).
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy Eleanor and Park.
GREAT story. ENJOY your books.

My Mailbox Monday
Eleanor & Park is a favorite of mine. Hope you love it!
ReplyDeleteI think I'll be reading Eleanor & Park. Such great reviews. I also have Attachments on my shelf (same author). Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteBookstores are the ultimate temptation. :-) Enjoy your week!
ReplyDeleteLoved Eleanor & Park - well worth giving in to temptation! Look at it this way, you probably didn't spend any more than you will if you go into Starbucks and those tasty beverages are calling you.
ReplyDeleteSounds like some good quality time together...even if it was only meant to be a bathroom break. :) Happy reading!
