Have you felt the madness? :)
Well, today marks one year in the blogging world. I know for a fact that many of you were not here for that first post. How often do you go back in posts of new additions to your blog roll?
I have met a lot of really great people from starting this so I think we need to celebrate and what other way than a contest for yarn. Us knitters love these yarny contests, right?
The prize: Some Malabrigo, of course.
The deal: Leave me a comment with a link to your first post and you get an entry. Link to this contest on your blog, get another entry. Any time anyone mentions you sent them, you get an entry.
The timeline: You have two weeks. March 20th is the deadline. I will announce the winner that weekend.
Good Luck!

My first post is technically here, although I've sinced moved my blog to WordPress. Neat idea for a contest!
ReplyDeleteMmmalabrigo!!
My first post is not that long ago... well less than a year ago. I guess time is going quickly here in blog land. It feels like it was just a month or two ago that I started blogging, but years since I started getting to know people through blogging. Strange huh?
ReplyDeletehttp://knuckleheadmusings.blogspot.com/2007/06/blogger-newbie.html
Happy blogiversary, Mari!
ReplyDeleteI sometimes go back to the beginning of a blog when I'm adding a new one to the list of blogs I read, sometimes when the blog is particularly interesting, but most often when it has a lot of educational posts.
I don't (yet) have a blog myself, but I have sent my first post in the cyberspace a few days ago as I am taking part in a knit-along (first time doing this, too); you can find it here: http://marchsweatermadness.blogspot.com/2008/03/im-in.html
I was asked to visit your blog by a friend of mine, Jadielady.com. I do find the knitting sites interesting and I am learning about knitting. But I don't knit, so much as slowly absorb some knowledge. My favorite knitting word is "tink." If you've read Jadie's Blog you'll understand why. I'm going to work on a post for both of you. Hang tight for the "Can't Never Could Do Nothing" ride. Of which my first blog can be found at: http://cantnevercoulddonothing.blogspot.com/2008/02/welcome.html
ReplyDelete"People are people," but I am pretty amazing as a friend. When it comes to yarn, Jadielady.com "just can't get enough." Visit my blog again soon and I'll do more for you too. Until then "See You." Thomas
ReplyDeleteHey, here is the beginning of the end.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm headed back to my blog to post your contest.
Love the site. Love malabrigo. The perfect union.
Here is my first entry. Pretty bland.
ReplyDeleteAnd here is where I linked to your contest. :)
Ta-da!
