Current Read and Teaser: Ghosting by Edith Pattou

It has been a really long time since I have shared a Teaser on Tuesday. Thought I would start it up again. I love seeing what others are reading and to share what my current read is.

I am currently reading Ghosting by Edith Pattou for BookSparks Fall Reading Challenge. It is written in verse, each short entry is in first person by a different character, teens going out on the last night out before the beginning of the new school year.
Here is a little tease...
"finally the water stops. after a few minutes the bathroom door opens and mom comes out, wearing a robe, her hair wet, her eye still swollen shut."
I am reading this on Kindle so the formatting is off and I am not sure of the page. I am 27% in, though.
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be ReadingAnyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Happy Reading!

  1. What an interesting way to write this. Is it hard to follow?

    1. Not at all. It's actually a good one to have on my phone. I can read a verse here and there throughout the day.

  2. Interesting way to tell a story.
Here's the link to my Tuesday post: Retirement Can Be Murder.

    1. It is. It's similar to the books by Ellen Hopkins. Also YA and free verse.

Thanks for taking the time to comment! :)
