The Sunday Salon

Mommy News

We are finally home for a bit so we are working on getting the little girl back to sleeping on a schedule. Nights are going well, but she has recently decided that she doesn't need to take naps. Uh, no.

Emma will be 9 months old in a couple weeks and she has finally cut her first tooth and the second is on the way soon. It's the bottom front tooth. Sharp little bugger. She won't let me see it but I can definitely feel it.

Current Reads

The Tapestry of Love
The Tapestry of Love by Rosy Thornton
Turn Coat (The Dresden Files, Book 11)

Yup, still these same books. May has not been a good month for reading. I did finish one, though!

Next books TBR and reviewed:

On the Needles

Still working on the blanket. No new progress to report.

Wow, not much to share this week. Sorry. I don't know what I have been doing with my time? Actually, the last couple nights, once the girl is asleep, I have been watching movies. I have finally been able to sit down and watch some of the Oscar nominated movies. I loved The King's Speech and Black Swan was crazy but I liked it. Next I have Winter's Bone to watch.  Have to check out Jennifer Lawrence. Make sure she has what it takes to be Katniss in The Hunger Games. :)

Happy Sunday!

  1. Good luck with the napping. I had to force my guy to nap until he was about 2 1/2 (it was ugly) and then I just gave up the battle. Hopefully she's just going through a phase for you!
