What, in your opinion, is the best book that you haven’t liked? Mind you, I don’t mean your most-hated book–oh, no. I mean the most accomplished, skilled, well-written, impressive book that you just simply didn’t like.
Wuthering Heights! I just could not make myself like this book no matter how well written it is. I know it is a favorite of many and I know it is a classic. I just didn't like it.
Yep, that's a good one not to like! I listed three different titles, but after thinking about it, I could create a long list of do-not-want-to-read-at-any-cost books, which would of course, include your title. Please come visit me.

ReplyDeleteYou're the second blogger I've read who's said so and I completely agree. It's incredibly overrated, and it's certainly a poor excuse for a romance - gothic or otherwise.
