After using my discarded hexipuffs to make a flower shaped pot holder, I decided I needed another portable project that would use up my left over sock yarn. Something less fussy than hexipuffs.
I decided on the mitred square blanket. These little squares are definitely portable, unfortunately not so much once I start connecting them all. These are so easy, fast and fun to knit while watching tv that I already have made it 12 squares wide.
Enough to be a nice lap blanket, I think. The yarn I have won't finish this, but just a great excuse to start some socks. Haven't made any in quite awhile.
