I have been trying to control the number of books that come in to our house lately. I am desperately running out of space in our small rooms. I do have two books to share today, though. One is for review and the second is for my book group. What books did you get this past week?
The Girl on the Cliff by Lucinda Riley
The Maltese Falcon by Dashiell Hammet

The Girl on the Cliff looks tempting...enjoy your reads...and I know what you mean about having to control the books coming in. My house is "controlled" by the books.
Several other posts have mentioned 'The Girl On The Cliff', so I already have it on my reading list. The couple of people who have finished reading it already have thoroughly enjoyed it and given it some great reviews, so I hope that you enjoy it too!
I have watched the film adaptation of 'The Maltese Falcon', but to my shame, I have never read any of Hammet's books. You have definitely reawakened my interest in this undisputed classic, so I have put that on my list as well!!
The Girl on the Cliff looks excellent. Hope you and your book group enjoy discussing The Maltese Falcon.
ReplyDeleteThanks! We are really looking forward to going on a walk around San Francisco to see all the spots in the book. Should be fun!

DeleteThose should both be great - I hope you love them!
ReplyDeleteThanks. Can't wait to get started reading them. :)
