branching out

I'm branching out. Getting myself out of the house and in public with my needles and my yarn. After taking a few classes from HCW, my LYS, I realized that it is so much more fun knitting with others than alone. So, I am trying to get over my introverted ways and actually attend some knitting groups, make new friends. It takes me awhile to feel comfortable with strangers and in groups, so this is big for me. So, if you happen to be at one of the North Austin MeetUps or at SnB tonight and you see someone knitting quietly, not chatting much, very focused on her sock, it's probably me.
